The site was an awkward corner plot in a 1970’s housing estate. Extensive negotiations and an appeal were required to secure approval, retain the public footpath and local access. Party wall issues had to be resolved. Site lines and privacy needed to be maintained. The scheme was designed to be as sustainable as possible and fit in with the estate design.
